Board of Directors

The Orchard Hospital Foundation is led and governed by a 10-member volunteer board of directors. The board includes local leaders with expertise in health, finance, government, business and community development. Each board member brings a unique perspective to the Foundation, allowing us to create fundraising programs that will best meet each donor's individual needs and expectations. Your generous support allows us to continue on our journey to excellence and makes a meaningful difference in the lives we touch each day.

Juan Solis is the Treasurer and a past Chairperson of the Orchard Hospital Foundation Board.
Juan Solis has been a Gridley resident for more than 25 years and a Gridley Bulldog at heart. Juan has worked in healthcare since 2007, holding various finance positions. Between 2018-2019, Juan worked for the City of Gridley as Director of Finance. He also served as a member of the Adventist Health and Rideout’s governing board until 2019. He holds degrees in finance and economics from CSU, Chico, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Memphis (where he graduated top of his class). He has been married for 14 years to Maribel Solis (ED nurse), and they have three beautiful children, Sofia 10, Victoria 6, and Emma 1. He is an avid soccer fan and enjoys coaching locally.
I join the Orchard Hospital Foundation, hoping to help make a difference for our community. My main goal is to help expand access to care for our residents. Improper access to healthcare has become one of the most significant problems in our communities, and the mission of the Foundation aligns perfectly with helping address this problem. I hope my expertise in the industry and my passion for Gridley help achieve our goals of improving healthcare in our town.
