Chairman of the Board’s Message

Orchard Hospital Chairman Edwin A. Becker Jr. Chairman Edwin A. Becker Jr.

I welcome you to Orchard Hospital. The Board of Directors and I are very proud of the services we can provide. Our team of dedicated Doctors, nurses and care givers will make every effort humanly possible, to give you the care you need.

We are a hospital that focuses on serving our rural area, with kind, compassionate and professional care to all, that pass through our doors.

Small rural hospitals are under constant threat of closing due lack of economies of scale, difficulty of maintaining adequate staffing and meeting our financial challenges. We take these difficulties head on, and I am proud to say that "Orchard Hospital is alive and well”!

Our communities have faced more than our fair share of threats to the lives and welfare of our residents. Whether it is a flood, a fire or a pandemic, Orchard Hospital has been there to provide a safe haven for all.

I hope that you will take pride in the fact that a community hospital, founded by the local citizens still stands today, over 70 years from that humble beginning.

Your governance board shares the same dream of quality health care for all our friends, neighbors, parents and children.

Please join me to help keep our dream alive!

Sincerely,

Ed Becker, Chairman

Orchard Hospital Board of Directors
